WHAT IS A STORYTELLING TATTOO?
A Storytelling Tattoo is a custom-designed tattoo that conveys the emotion of a memory related to one’s life journey.

These “story” tattoos are generally a collage of images, symbols, and phrases that encapsulate the most important elements of one’s own life or that of a loved one. They are therefore unique, tailor-made designs that cannot be replicated.

HOW DO I CREATE AN STORYTELLING TATTOO?
Once I have gathered ideas and images, I compose them in the most effective way. The basic concept is to recreate a kind of cover or storyboard of a biographical film.
My primary goal is to ensure that the design is legible. The challenge is to be able to insert multiple elements while keeping them legible and harmonious. I must therefore avoid a confusing effect due to the quantity and visual difference of the subjects to be inserted.

WHAT STYLE DO YOU USE?
The execution style is the so-called “fineline“, or the use of fine lines with shading and the Dotwork technique; in my case it is exclusively in black and white.

WHERE CAN I GET AN STORYTELLING TATTOO?
The ideal positions for this type of tattoo are definitely the arms, especially the inner forearm, and the legs; I do not do this type of work on the ribs or abdomen.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?
If you want to get a “story” tattooed, I need a list of elements (maximum 10) with short descriptions attached and, if possible, some photos.

I ask you to describe mainly concrete and objective elements; in fact, it becomes difficult to represent feelings and emotions.

I also ask you to describe the atmosphere you want to represent (nostalgic, adventurous, noir etc.).

WHEN WILL I SEE THE DESIGN?
The tattoo design will be presented only on the day of the appointment, so that we can discuss any changes in person.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET AN STORYTELLING TATTOO?
An entire day is dedicated to an Storytelling Tattoo, which also includes approximately 4 hours of execution for a medium-sized tattoo.

BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT

If you’d like to get a “story” tattoo, please send me a list of no more than 7–9 elements, each accompanied by a brief description and, if possible, a reference photo.

I kindly ask you to include concrete and objective elements: abstract concepts such as feelings or emotions are difficult to represent visually, as they are too subjective.

It’s also important that you describe the atmosphere you’d like to convey (e.g. nostalgic, adventurous, noir, etc.).

These projects are typically done in black and white, with medium dimensions, approximately 14–18 cm in height and 7–11 cm in width.

The design will be shown on the day of the appointment, so we can review it together in person and make any necessary changes. The entire day, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, will be dedicated exclusively to your project.
