Andrea’s Tattoo Story: From Graffiti to Fine Line tattoo Artist

ABOUT ME
My name is Andrea, and I’m an Italian tattoo artist based in Milan. Born in 1985, I’ve always been passionate about art, drawing, and illustration. After graduating from high school, I explored various career paths, including a stint in the world of carpentry. However, I felt dissatisfied and longed for a job that allowed me to express my creativity fully.

DISCOVERING MY PASSION FOR TATTOOS
Around the age of 27, I had an epiphany: tattooing was the perfect way to combine my love of art with my desire for a meaningful career. I dove headfirst into the world of tattooing, learning everything I could about the craft.

MY ARTISTIC INSPIRATIONS:
My artistic influences are different, spanning the worlds of comics, illustration, and fine art. I’m particularly inspired by artists like Moebius, Sergio Toppi, Fornasetti, and Hieronymus Bosch. I admire their attention to detail, use of symbolism, and ability to create captivating worlds.
My tattoo style is characterized by fine lines, intricate details, and a mix of traditional and illustrative elements. I enjoy creating cover and collages that tell a story or capture a special moment in time.

MY JOURNEY AS A TATTOO ARTIST
I began my apprenticeship in a tattoo studio in Brianza, Italy. After months of learning the ropes, I started practicing on friends and eventually began tattooing clients. Over time, I honed my skills and developed my own unique style.
My work has been featured in various social media pages and tattoo magazines, which has helped me gain international recognition. I’ve been invited to guest spot at prestigious tattoo studios in London, Manchester, Stuttgart, Munich and Rome.

MY ACHIEVEMENTS
One of my proudest achievements is being featured in the book “Micro Tattoos: The World’s Top Fine Line Tattoo Artists.” I’m grateful to be included among the most talented artists in the world.

MY CURRENT WORK
I continue to work from my base in Milan, but I also travel frequently throughout Italy and Europe to tattoo clients. In addition to tattooing, I also create paintings, drawings, and logos on commission.

I’m passionate about my work and I’m always looking for new ways to challenge myself and improve my skills. I’m grateful to have found a career that allows me to express my creativity and connect with people on a personal level.
